We worked with Sophia for a belated holiday party and it was wonderful! So flexible with menu changes, everyone loved the food, and the atmosphere was perfect for our group. Thank you!

Let me start by saying that I remember the old Pippin's Tavern and this is a vast improvement. They have a neat spot down the road from where they used to be and its much bigger and much cleaner. We sat at the bar for some beverages. The bartenders were great and friendly. Every drink we ordered was nicely curated and tasted delicious. I always stop in when I'm in Chicago and will continue to make this a regular stop for years to come.

Solid fish and chips and service. Friendly staff and tasty bites. I don't really get "Irish pub" from this place but there's an entire basement downstairs with performers that I had NO IDEA was here. Wish they had a sign on the street to let passerby's know. Really enjoyed it though and would come back.

Thanks to the team at Pippin's for a lovely evening filled with delish meals, tasty drinks, great service (thanks Nora!), and a warm welcome at the door! The happy hour prices were reasonable and there was an extensive selection. The food was all SO good! Each item was plated with great care and was pleasing to the eye. Caveat: be sure to ask the quantity of charcuterie "cones" on its happy hour menu as, to me, its plural use indicates two or more but we were told only one is served per order. YMMV. Great location and atmosphere. Sat at the bar and had a nice time. Ordered French Onion bombs ( you get 3, so eat fast or order two). Try it! Bartender was attentive and quick to answer and help. Extremely busy. The basement has a huge room, maybe for renting out for parties or large group gatherings. Will definitely go back. We had beers and cider but they had a lot to offer drink wise

Dueling Pianos on Friday and Saturday 9pm-1am. They play every song that you request and its super fun!

Some friends and I were visiting Chicago from Dallas. While walking around exploring the city, we became hungry and walked into the first restaurant we saw - Pippin's. OMG. What a great decision. Outside looking in, I expected basic food and service. However, the food was soooo good. We ended up ordering more AFTER finishing our meals and then went back another day. Highly recommend the drinks, the oysters (and I don't even eat raw oysters but these were amazing), the shrimp (WOW), the steak bites (CHEFS KISS), the butter cake (I CAN EAT 5 of these lol). Sit out on the patio during a nice day and eat up!

We stopped here just for drinks. We sat at the patio and had some wine and margaritas. Perfect location for people watching because it's not a crazy busy street. We were able to just relax and talk. The service was great! Our server checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. Would love to coma back and try their food!
